WHAT IS IT FOR?
Useful for monitoring the conditions of objects, furniture and immovable parts (walls, floors, glass...) contained in the property before the tenant's arrival and after the end of the stay. This check must be done together with the tenant, in order to inspect the damage (if any) or the lack of some objects present at the beginning of the stay and possibly retain part of the SECURITY DEPOSIT.
Indispensable if you keep the security deposit (even through sites like Airbnb) and want to have some hope of compensation.

TO PROTECT YOUR ASSETS.
🔘 The inventory highlights to the lessee (tenant) the conditions of the property at the beginning of the rental contract (especially if the rental is medium-long).
🔘 ONLY an inventory signed by both parties has LEGAL VALUE as it becomes a report that can be challenged as evidence, and avoids (or at least reduces) disputes, because the checklist helps determine who is responsible for any damages and the costs of each item included.
🔘 If an agreement is not reached, the inventory report can be challenged for compensation.
